Mississippi State geoscience educators built virtual field trips for a 24-day field course, hosting their gigapixel image of a Colorado roadcut on the GIGAmacro Viewer and citing its tiling documentation. Student feedback rated the tiled gigapixel images the strongest of the four virtual tools tested.
