The specimen was imaged in lateral view using a GIGAmacro Magnify 2 Robotic Imaging System (Four Chambers Studio LLC).

Senckenberg Frankfurt used a Magnify 2 for the whole-body habitus imaging in a multimodal anatomical study of the bullet ant, alongside synchrotron microCT and confocal microscopy.
