Photographs were taken in two labs with different equipment. A GIGAmacro Magnify2 system, a Canon EOS D5 full-frame DSLR, a Canon MP-E 65 mm f2.8 macro-lens and twin-flash was used.

Robber flies reviewed using a Magnify2 alongside a second imaging lab.
